Wallace angry about trade
Portland Trailblazers forward Gerald Wallace said he felt like he was stabbed in the back after being traded from the Charlotte Bobcats.
Wallace said he still hasn’t gotten over the trade and that it’s the most shocking event of his professional career.
He said it hurt to feel like he wasn’t wanted by the franchise anymore, calling it a slap in the face.
It was made worse by the fact that head coach Paul Silas assured him he was staying put and no trade would take place.
Wallace went as far as to say he thought he was going to retire with Charlotte and never wear another uniform.
